Anointing of the Sick

Anointing of the sick is the second sacrament of healing. In this sacrament, a priest anoints the sick with the Oil of the Sick which is blessed specifically for that purpose. This sacrament can be administered to any member of the faithful having reached the age of reason. A new illness or a worsening of health enables a person to receive the sacrament again.
