As part of the Safe Environment Program, the Diocese of Venice requires that all employees and those volunteers who work with children and/or vulnerable adults be fingerprinted and trained in Safe Environment. To be able to participate in any of those ministries, a volunteer must take the Safe Environment Training and must also be fingerprinted.

Please contact Liz McGuire at 239-775-9576, ext. 102, to register for fingerprinting and the Safe Environment Training session. You must be fingerprinted BEFORE taking the SET session.

What is Safe Environment Training? Find out here in English and Spanish!

In order to protect children or vulnerable adults, it is necessary for volunteers to be fingerprinted and complete the Safe Environment Training.
