EARLY CHRISTIANITY
November 29 - December 20, 2017
Ministry Center-1st Floor Conference Room
Wednesdays - 10:30 am-12 noon

During the first 500 years of the life of the Church, it experienced persecution, nominal tolerance and finally acceptance. There were four Ecumenical Councils (325, 381, 431, 451) which defined the essential truths of the Christian faith. They brought reform and renewal that were the seeds of a continuing process throughout the history of the Church. Knowledge of these early events provides a better understanding of later reformations within the Church.
